Hi, I'm Katy Keeslar, owner and Creative Director of Keeslar Creative. I've always been an artist and a designer at heart and have been creating unique and distinctive brands for hundreds of clients for more than two decades. My approach is thought-driven by deeply listening to find the story, strengths/weaknesses and desires behind what drives a business or client in order to create a visual representation that connects to their ideal customer or audience.
In many instances, I incorporate handcrafted lettering into the brand if I feel it works to evoke a particular feeling that represents the values of the client and speaks to their customer. It also creates a distinctive look that helps set your business apart.
My passion for calligraphy and unique letterforms started over 25 years ago. I love creating lettering that brings a positive light through its shape and color and uplifts the soul. My inspiration comes from all the things I love — nature, art form, dance, music, color and texture.
